I guess I'll talk about when I first came about. Sherry arrived at boot camp and the first hour she was there she needed me. The drill sergeants were in her face screaming and she crumbled. It was like having the father there all over again. We needed to get through this boot camp! She could not stay focused and she definitely was not organized! I shined her shoes, folded her shirts, made the bed (with the perfect angle I might add!) and let the drill sergeants scream at me. It didn't bother me at all. You have to look right through them. That's the key. I truly believe that she would not have made it through basics without me. I was the only one who could fold her duffel bag properly and iron her clothes right. Since she is no longer in the service I have a bit of a different role. I am more the caretaker of the inner house. I settle differences, keep the littles happy and so on. I also am there when Sherry can not handle a major event. I am very motivated to get things done and done right the first time. That's about it . Sorry I couldn't add anything too interesting.
